Application Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

1.1 By submitting an application, the applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to all applicants without exception.
1.3 The reviewing body reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of submission shall apply.


2. Communication Requirements

2.1 All communication must adhere to professional standards, including a polite tone, clear structure, and complete, accurate, and relevant information.
2.2 The reviewing body reserves the right to disregard any communication that does not meet these standards.
2.3 Failure to comply may result in the application not being considered.


3. Authorized Submission Channels

3.1 Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official email address or designated contact form.
3.2 Applications submitted via social media or any unauthorized channels shall be deemed invalid.
3.3 The reviewing body assumes no responsibility for applications submitted through incorrect or unofficial channels.


4. Eligibility and Residency

4.1 Applicants must be physically residing in their country of origin at the time of application.
4.2 Applicants must be actively enrolled in a recognized agricultural education program at the time of submission and remain one during the internship.
4.3 Applications submitted from outside the applicant’s country of origin shall be rejected.


5. Application Route Compliance

5.1 Where an official agri LIDA® partner exists in the applicant’s country of origin, the applicant must apply through that partner.
5.2 Direct applications submitted in breach of Clause 5.1 shall not be processed.
5.3 The reviewing body reserves the right to verify compliance.


6. Prohibited Submissions

6.1 Unsolicited applications or submissions outside the prescribed process shall not be reviewed.
6.2 Any attempt to bypass the official procedure may result in disqualification.


7. Documentation Requirements

7.1 Applicants must submit all required documentation in the specified format.
7.2 All documentation must be complete, accurate, and clearly legible.
7.3 The reviewing body reserves the right to reject incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear submissions.
7.4 Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information will result in immediate disqualification and may be reported to relevant authorities.


8. Finality of Submission

8.1 Applications must be complete and final at the time of submission.
8.2 No amendments, corrections, or resubmissions shall be accepted after submission.
8.3 The reviewing body assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions.


9. Data Protection and Privacy (GDPR Compliance)

9.1 Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
9.2 Data collected shall be limited to what is necessary for the purpose of processing and evaluating applications.
9.3 Personal data may include, but is not limited to, identification details, educational information, and supporting documentation.
9.4 The legal basis for processing is the applicant’s consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and the necessity for pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b)).
9.5 Personal data shall not be shared with third parties except where necessary for application processing (e.g., official partners) or where required by law.
9.6 Personal data shall be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing or to comply with legal obligations.
9.7 Applicants have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object to the processing of their personal data, as well as the right to data portability.
9.8 Applicants have the right to withdraw consent at any time; however, this may result in the withdrawal of their application.
9.9 Applicants have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority within the European Union.


10. No Obligation to Respond

10.1 The reviewing body reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to respond to applications.
10.2 Submission of an application does not create any obligation for review, feedback, or correspondence.
10.3 Lack of response shall not be interpreted as acceptance or ongoing consideration.


11. Right of Refusal

11.1 The reviewing body reserves the unrestricted right to refuse any application.
11.2 Applications may be refused without explanation, subject to applicable EU law.
11.3 All decisions are final and not subject to appeal unless otherwise required by law.


12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 The reviewing body shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the application process, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12.2 This includes, but is not limited to, technical failures, submission errors, or non-review of applications.


13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Denmark.
13.2 Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory EU law.
